Summary of the Book:

A RICH GIRL WITH RULES. A POOR BOY WITH A CRUSH. AND A BLANK CHECK THAT WILL CHANGE THEIR LIVES FOREVER.

Sixteen-year-old Alex Wells has been in and out of foster homes since he was five years old. Without much money and with no parents, he’s used his smarts to secure an academic scholarship at the prestigious St. Mary’s Academy. When beautiful and down to earth Cassia Johnstone walks into his math class, Alex knows she’s the one for him.

Alex dreams of Cassia being his date for junior prom. There are only two problems. First, unlike him, she’s filthy rich. And second, she’s into someone else.

But, when a mysterious bag of money falls into Alex’s lap, he comes up with the mother of all plans. One filled with romance, intrigue, and just a little bit of danger.

Can Alex capture Cassia’s attention and convince her to be his date for junior prom, or will his big plan blow up in his face and devastate everyone around him?

My Personal Review: I received a copy of this book for a fair and honest review. This one gave me good feels, but had a few ideas on how it was going to go and I admit I did not get all of it right. It is a fairytale retelling of Aladdin. At least that is the feeling that I got from this story. That Cassia was Jasmine and Alex was Aladdin. Him going after the girl that he believes is out of his reach because of his social standing. He just wants to take her to the prom.

My Rating of the Book: 4 Stars
