How I Got the Book: Review Copy

Summary of the Book:

Jasmine Patel and Oliver Santiago are sworn enemies.
She dreams of going to college and being a painter, and his dreams don’t extend beyond his bad boy reputation.
When a mix-up in the school’s art contest puts Ollie’s secret artistic abilities on display, he’s out for revenge, and Jasmine is firmly in his crosshairs.
But one night changes everything, sending tempers flaring, sparks flying, and revealing secrets that change their worlds forever.
Can Jasmine maintain her good girl facade in the face of Ollie’s advances? Or is this good girl about to go bad?
Inspired by the story of Aladdin, The Secret Lives of Princesses is the fifth book in the St. Mary’s Academy series. It’s filled with romance, secrets, and just a touch of danger.

My Personal Review: I received a copy of this book for a fair and honest review. This is a fairytale retelling of Aladdin and it was well done for the modren era. Jasmine has her rules about who or if she dates and the biggest one is never the bad boys. When what you know is based on little fact and not the whole truth or just a mistake. That is what happens to put Jasmine in Oliver’s crosshairs when something he wanted to keep secret is reveal and that leads to something new. It is a slow burn romance that is very fun and note worthy.

My Rating of the Book: 4 Stars
