How I Got the Book: Review Copy

Summary of the Book:

This boxed set includes: Cursed by Fire, Kissed by Fire, and Burned by Fire.

Cursed by Fire
Blood is going to spill …
I just hope it won’t be mine.

Someone is trying to incite a war and pit the shifter Pack and the vampire Coven against one another.
If war breaks out, humanity won’t survive.
And I can’t let that happen.

My boss doesn’t want me to get involved. It’s too dangerous.
But I’m a mercenary and I’ve been hired to find whoever it is that’s leaving a trail of bodies in their wake.

In a search that takes me through the maze of shifter hierarchy and the depths of the paranormal underworld, these killers underestimate how determined I am to protect my city.

Yes, blood will spill. And it’ll be theirs.

Kissed by Fire

New Rule: If it has sharp teeth, don’t trust it.

Getting bit hurts like hell.

As Friend of the Pack, I should be untouchable, protected by the most influential group in the Pacific Northwest. But someone is unleashing rogue vampires to hunt me down, and I’m determined to find out why.

But on my hunt for answers, the unimaginable happens. Bound to one of the most influential power players, I must tread carefully.

Paranormal politics are at play.

And I refuse to be anyone’s puppet.

Burned by Fire

When you ask yourself, “What else can go wrong?” The answer is everything.

Aria’s pyrokinetic abilities have always been hard to control, and being pulled in so many directions isn’t making things any easier. Now she has to help Inarus, a foe turned friend who is being targeted by the Human Alliance Corporation—the very organization he once worked for.

But the HAC has more than just Inarus in their sights. Aria finds herself going deep into enemy territory to save a witchling child with never before seen powers that the HAC has kidnapped to further their own ends.

Aria has been hired to save a child once before, and she failed. That failure has haunted her even to this day and she won’t let herself fail again. With the HAC closing in, and complications between herself and the Pack rising, Aria has no choice but to succeed. A child’s life is on the line and Aria will risk everything to save that life but in the end, will all of her efforts be enough?

My Personal Review: I received a copy of this book for a fair and honest review. I have been reading a little more urban fantasy so it was no surprise I found this series. I love Aria she is a very interesting character. She is not a character that everything goes her way, but she does her moments that make me laugh and others that I worry about her. I like books that take me through a several stages emotions as I got through them. These first three book did just that. I would love to read the rest and I have heard there is a spin off series as well. Looking forward those as well.

My Rating of the Book: 4 1/2 Stars
