You’ll find complete instructions for making your own simple syrups, bitters, liqueurs and cordials using unique ingredients such as cardamom, cilantro, rosemary, lavender, eucalyptus, five-spice and more.

Plus you’ll learn the fascinating histories of classic pre-Prohibition cocktails such as the very vintage Sherry Cobbler and the silky smooth Ramos Gin Fizz and try some new Prohibition-inspired cocktails such as the Kitty Burke and Bees in Kilts. With more than 100 recipes inside you’re sure to discover your new favorite drink.

My Personal Review: I received a copy of this book for a fair and honest review. I wanted this because I love making cocktails and learning about them. I have bartended before. I love how it was broken up into different parts and different parts of the days. The part about making a few kinds of syrup simples. That is something that I have not see in a cocktail book. Normally they only have the basic simple syrup but this one has different flavors. I put some of these recipes into my recipes book that I keep things I want to remember. I don’t drink often but there are a couple of the vodka drinks I would like to try.

My Rating of the Book: 5 Stars
