Summary of the Book:
Love isn’t meant for the shadows of the night… or is it?
Being a vampire sure isn’t easy. Even if stories of intolerances to garlic and treacherous mirrors are nothing but old wives’ tales, an unaging, immortal life away from the world of normalcy certainly tends to lend itself to loneliness —not to mention how annoying it is to have to stay out of the sun; or the taste of the synthetic blood replacement. An eternity in loneliness is sure to drive anyone mad, so it’s probably a good thing that a group of vampires decided to come together and join one another as a family, now that their biological blood was long gone. Now, the Allertons still face all the difficulties of a life away from the sun, but at least they can do so together.
But falling in love still seems far removed from possible… Until all of a sudden, fate thinks otherwise. Will the Allerton brothers find their special someone to spend their undying days with? Or will the challenges of a vampiric lifestyle —and complicated, haunting past lives— be too much to overcome?
Don’t miss out on these MM paranormal romances full of steam and character; spiciness and sweetness. A young lawyer made to submit to his ex-rival to pay off a debt; an anxious ballerina who falls head over heels for a bartender with a heart of gold; a divorcee rancher who’s given up on love altogether —enemies to lovers, kink, dark past secrets, opposites attract, vengeful ex-lovers, horses, crossdressing, forced together and much, much more. What’s not to love?
This Box Set contains the first three full-length standalone Taken at Midnight novels: ‘Bitten’, ‘Bound’ and ‘Bared’.
My Personal Review: I received a copy of this book for a fair and honest review. Up until this point I had not read anything by Lola Delorey. I have to say the tales she wove for the three couples in the three full length books. They are Bitten, Bound and Bared. It is well done but there are some moment that had me questioning of these book were really about vampires. A lot of that was like of skimmed over. I picked up because I love vampire romance of almost any kind. Some of the couple worked together better then others, but there was a lot to keep track of from their pasts, older lovers, dark moments, and some spicy moments. So it was a well put together box set.
My Rating of the Book: 4 Stars
