How I Got the Book: Review Copy

Summary of the Book:

The revival of a secret society. Three dark books of magic. And one badass woman to save the world from Hell…

Kana Cold gained a measure of notoriety when she solved the first recorded case of a Shinigami in North America. Now, the Vatican needs her help to track down three books of dark magic – known as The Black Grimoires – hidden around the world. With ancient spirits wanting her dead, a secret group known as The Thule Society hot on her trail, and the distraction of an Italian archeologist/playboy, Kana must find a way to keep the unholy power of the Black Grimoires from unleashing hell on Earth.

My Personal Review: I received a copy of this book for a fair and honest review. I had a couple of people recommend for me to read this so I got it. I have to say that I like Kana Cold and AJ. I am not all that sure about Stefan. There is still something about him that rubs me the wrong way. There is a lot going on in this book and a lot of different locations. I am not sure I would have been able to handle all of this, but seemed to me that it went a little to smoothly. I have a lot of thoughts but not sure what to share and what not to. I don’t want to ruin if for anyone else would would read this book or series. Kana and AJ are going up against a secret and powerful society. That was intense and there is still more I want to in the books to come. Most cases to come.

My Rating of the Book: 4 Stars
