My Personal Review: Kat is an interest character and made the book enjoyable. Kat is out with friends to celebrate and decides to go home alone. While she is leaving someone bumps into her and that person is badly injured. The woman tells her to tell her guardians that she is sorry. She has a hold of Kat’s wrists and whispers as Kat’s wrists start to burn. Kat passes out. She meets the guardians that Samara mentions in her last moments. One of them is missing at this point and they know Slade is not dead or they would being that on more then one level. They know they are not going to get any answers until the human wakes up. I enjoyed the first book in this series. I am ready for the next one.
