Summary of the Book:
Lana’s mom just got married to a Silicon Valley Billionaire. Now Lana and her mom will live in his home. Lana feels as though she does not belong there. She thinks she can make things worse and then she will return to live with her dad. Only problem? That is not part of the plan. She arrives at the Billionaire’s Mansion and gets introduced to Hardin, a guy who goes to Lana’s new private high school Haven star. He stays in the guest house which also doubles as a music studio with his best friends while his parents go Yacht Racing around the world
He does not want to be her chaperone, and she does not want him to either. Then there is the question of girls at the school. They don’t want her around because Hardin, Maxim, Liam and Connor are the hottest most sought after guys in the Academy.
The popular girls will not let some wallflower take them away.
The boys don’t want her here. She might end up someday taking over the guest house and they don’t want to lose it. Lana does not care she wants to go back to her regular simple life in the southeast Los Angeles. Haven star Academy just got a little dramatic.
Will Lana get her wish? Will she head back to her old life? Or will she tough it out at Haven Star Academy?
My Personal Review: I received a copy of this book for a fair and honest review. I have been reading a lot of the bully romance and this one did not measure up. It was not a bad story, but there were some errors that were hard to over look. This books needs some re-edits and polishing. This story has us following Lana who lived in Bronx with her father. There is an incident that takes place and he is arrested and she is sent to live with her mother. Her mother has married into money and Lana is not used to the wealthy. There is the guy living in the guest house as his father races yachts around the world. Hardin and his crew use the guest house as a music studio as well. I just going to say I wanted more from this story.
My Rating of the Book: 3 Stars
