How I Got the Book: Review Copy
Summary of the Book:
Christina Quinn’s third poetry collection. Riding Bareback Backwards is exactly the the sensuous sensual work American poetry needs. Leave it to a transplanted Brit to show the colonies how it’s done. This is work that flows through the reader, eases into the bones. There is no one else like Christina Quinn.
My Personal Review: I received a copy of this book for a fair and honest review. I could feel the heaviness of the words and emotions the poet was putting into each of the poems that I read. The writing style kind of gave me e e cummings vibes and it was a good thing. The way things were worded gave me strong visuals. There was always that none of the poems had titles. That is not something that I have seen very often.
My Rating of the Book: 4 Stars
