Summary of the Book:

EMERALD MOUNTAIN #1 – JUST FRIENDS — A cold day of powder skiing leads to a night of hot sex, and maybe more, in this short, steamy, friends-to-lovers novelette. (58 pages)

Taya Monroe is trying to pick up the pieces of her failed writing career and broken life after walking out on her cheating fiancé. The last thing she needs is a serious relationship. The last thing she wants is a fling. Then she runs into an old friend and ski partner—the one man she always wanted who never wanted her.

Ski Patroller Jordan Wiley is a single dad with zero time or energy for dating. When he reconnects with Taya, his attraction to her is even stronger than before she left him behind for a career in the city. But with a young son to think about, he’s determined to ignore his feelings. Again.

After a magical day on the slopes, a snow storm traps them in an avalanche of chemistry neither can deny. Will their friendship survive the weight of their passion or will they surface as more than friends?

EMERALD MOUNTAIN #2 – IN DEEP – Avalanches aren’t the only thing ex-lovers and Ski Patrollers Max and Sophie are trying to control in this steamy, second chance at love novella. (90 pages)

Sophie Tremore is trying to build a career in the male-dominated world of Ski Patrol. Hard to do when her new boss is her smokin’ hot ex-lover. She hasn’t forgotten how he made her body tingle and her heart pound, although he’s making it a lot easier by treating her like she’s incompetent—when he’s not ignoring her existence altogether.

Emerald Mountain Ski Patrol Director Max Demford has been doing his best to avoid working with his feisty former flame, given his judgment is clouded by those eight mind-blowing weeks two years ago. Ski patrol is dangerous enough, and no way could he handle another person he cares about getting hurt on the mountain.

Forced to work together, their simmering attraction becomes difficult to ignore. When Sophie gets caught in a slide, an adrenaline-filled day could turn into a spectacular night they will never forget—one that could risk both their careers.

EMERALD MOUNTAIN #3 – NEVER YOU – It’s the end of ski season. She doesn’t do casual. He doesn’t do serious. Alone in the backcountry, are some rules made to be broken in this enemies-to-lovers novella? (113 pages)

Emerald Mountain Ski Hut caretaker Morgan Monroe doesn’t do casual relationships. Not anymore. Certainly not with the obnoxious, flirty, too-hot-for-his-own-good chef she’s wanted to strangle all season. He’s the kind of man she wouldn’t date in a million years, even if he were the dating type.

Chef Dan Griffin doesn’t believe in relationships. But a one-night stand to celebrate the end of ski season? Hell yes! Especially with the gorgeous caretaker. She’s sexy but melt-in-your-mouth sweet, the kind of woman who could convince a man to get serious…if he were the relationship type. She kept her distance all winter, but he’s hoping he can convince her to get closer for one night of passion.

When things heat up on a cold winter’s night, will they play it safe or follow their hearts?

My Personal Review: I received a copy of this book for a fair and honest review. This box set was a very quick read. It contains three seperate stories at the ski lodge.  The first book Just Friend is a friends to lovers romance. In Deep is a ex-lovers romance. Never You is an enemies to lovers romance. I love all these types of tropes. They added variety to the box set set in the same location. I enjoyed the characters and the setting. I will have to look into see what else this author has to offer. I enjoy the sweet romance of it all.

My Rating of the Book: 4 Stars
