How I Got the Book: Review Copy

Summary of the Book:

Young, strong, confident, and a bit too naive for the big city, Criminal Psychologist Dr. Sarah Parker is hired by the NYPD to help track down a notorious murderer. In one unexpected moment of being in the right place at the right time, she finds herself alone, face to face with the object of the hunt, heroically offering her companionship to the lonely man in exchange for the safety of his next victim. Sarah quickly begins to learn that there is more to Jacob than meets the eye.

As their connection builds and she learns about his dark past, Sarah struggles with the conflict of remembering the danger of her situation in the midst of embracing her increasing feelings of compassion, possibly even love, for the man she is supposed to fear.

My Personal Review: I received a copy of this book for a fair and honest review.  I was not sure what was going to happen when I read this book. I went in thinking that I was not going to like Jacob as a character. It was more that enjoyed what Sarah made him become as she spent time with him. It was a book that kept me turning the pages so I could see how everything turned out. It had my heart racing at time and biting my nails at others.

My Rating of the Book: 4 Stars
