Summary of the Book:
Thirteen strangers check into the Sunset Inn hoping to find rest. When one of them is murdered in the middle of the night, the survivors realize they’ve found something else entirely; an ancient evil looking to satisfy an undying hunger. If the guests want to make it through the night, they’ll have to discover the secret behind the motel and the mysterious town it serves. However, in uncovering the truth, they might find that the town’s past is nowhere near as dark as their own.
My Personal Review: I received a copy of this book for a fair and honest review. I think this is one of those books that combines a little bit of humor even as it is trying to scare you out of your wits. It all begins with a couple of teens running out of gas and pulling into the parking lot of a spooky looking motel in West Virginia. Over the course of the night others check into the motel and one is murdered. It is up to the rest of the characters to come together to find the killer. The characters are kind of all over the place but they give the story a good push. The change in POV was sometime difficult and the pacing was a little slow in places, but over all it was an enjoyable creepy read.
My Rating of the Book: 4 Stars
