How I Got the Book: ARC

Summary of the Book:

I fell for Tyler Adams when he had nothing but a guitar.
He was my rebel prince, my handsome muse, my twisted friend.
We were worlds apart in every way that mattered:
He was poor, I was rich.
He was beautiful, I was plain.
He honed his talent in private, while I ached for the spotlight.
When Tyler moved in with us, Oakwood Prep fell on its knees to worship at his altar.
He traded my friendship for their crown.
I will never forgive his betrayal.
But some nights…
He makes me want to.

My Personal Review: I received a copy of this book for a fair and honest review. I agreed to read this book. I love rock star books and have read a lot of them over the years. I enjoyed this one because it had some characters I already knew and loved. They came from the Wicked series that came before this one. The tension and frustration that is between Annie and Tyler is out there in the universe that distant planets could touch it. I loved that it was not inst-love, but it was friendship and slow changed to love over music and cheese fries. The book left me feeling raw and exposed for the pain of those two. I understand it has to be this way for now, but does not mean I had to like it. I like story that get my emotions going.

My Rating of the Book: 4 1/2 Stars
