The 20 Question Book Tag

1. How many books are too many books in a book series?

I have a thing for long series as long as it keeps me engaged it the story. I don’t want another book just to have another book. I have read some series that just went on to long. I say a good series should be between 5 and 7 books.

2. How do you feel about cliffhangers?

I don’t like them at the time of reading them for I have to wait so long time for the next book to come out. Then if I am reading an author’s back catalogue then I don’t have to wait if I have all the books so not so bad. It depends on the situation for me I guess.

3. Hardback or paperback?

This is a bit of a hard one. If it s for one of the series I want all of I want hardcovers. But I have had some authors that I have loved only do paperback. That means I don’t really get the choice.

4. Favorite book?

I love a lot of books but not sure I could pick just one to say that it is my favorite. I am just being honest.

5. Least favorite book?

There are been some books that I have read over the years that I will never read again. They were just not for me. I don’t think I want name any off hand.

6. Love triangles, yes or no?

This for me is a book by book basis for me. There are some that are well done, but most of them are just to add a layer to the book that really does not need to be there. It does not add anything to the story.

7. The most recent book you just couldn’t finish?

I am a book blogger and reviewer. It is not likely that I will leave a book undone. It is part of my Scorpio personality to finish things.

8. A book you’re currently reading?

I have a couple I am waiting to read while I get caught up on my blog posts.

12. Favorite author?

I have a lot of favorite authors. I could list several. Laurell K. Hamilton has always been near the top. C. M. Stunich, Rachel Angel, Tracy Wolff, and so many more. I am sure in the years to come I will add more to the lists of favorites.

13. Buying books or borrowing books?

It is no secret that book are expensive. I buy some of them, but a lot of them I see if I can get them through libraries and friends. So borrowing has been the way I have been going as of late.

14. A book you dislike that everyone else seems to love?

There are books out there I did not like. I could not get into Twilight, The Raven Boys, and After. This is just a few that just did not grab me and hold on. I know they are popular books, but they did nothing for me to be honest.

15. Bookmarks or dog-ears?

Bookmarks!!! It feel it is wrong to dog ear books. It does weird things to the pages.

16. A book you can always reread?

I am not sure if I have one book that I reread all the time. I have several series I go back and read when I get into a slump. Like the Anita Blake series for there are parts that make me laugh. My favorite character is Edward/Ted.

17. Can you read while hearing music?

I often listen to music when I am reading. It is usually on softly in the background while I am ready. I some times like to listen to the playlists some authors said they used to write the book or based on the characters in books.

18. One POV or multiple POVs?

This is another one that is on a book to book basis. I have read some Multiple POVs that were done well and I could see the character change. Then there are others that it got a little muddy at times.

19. Do you read a book in one sitting or over multiple days?

There are times that I can sit down and read a book in one setting. There are times that I want to talk my time for I know it could be months or even a year before the next book is coming out. I do this somethings for I have so much to read that I burn through books like crazy and then sometime I get in a slump and read nothing.
