How I Got the Book: Review Copy

Summary of the Book:

I am Evie Everheart. As a Life’s Blood Carrier, I am pursued by all vampires who want to become All Powerful or to become human again. Which is practically ALL vampires. Basically, I’m screwed.

Then I meet him, the Vampire Samurai and his band of brothers, consisting of another vampire, a fae, and a shifter.
What they want of me, I’ve yet to find out.

Friend or foe?

I don’t know. But as a carrier, all I know is that I must do everything I can to keep the vampires from getting my blood or humanity as we know it, would end.

My Personal Review: I received a copy of this book for a fair and honest review. I read the PULSE books years ago. It was good to be back in that world. I love Evie and the Samurais. I have to say of the four Soru and Kai are my favorites, but it is only the first book. It is about Evie going to Japan to stay with her Aunt to learn more about her mother who she never got to know and her father would tell her very little. Her Aunt owns a ramen shop and that is where all things change. She discovers things about herself and she has to come terms with her new world. I love how she got to have time with each of the guys. It made for a good foundation for all of their relationships. I had not been ready for ending. I need the next one and fast.

My Rating of the Book: 5 Stars
