Summary of the Book:

Two sisters.

One brutal murder.

A quest for vengeance that will unleash Hell itself…

And an intoxicating romance.

Emilia and her twin sister Vittoria are streghe – witches who live secretly among humans, avoiding notice and persecution. One night, Vittoria misses dinner service at the family’s renowned Sicilian restaurant. Emilia soon finds the body of her beloved twin…desecrated beyond belief. Devastated, Emilia sets out to find her sister’s killer and to seek vengeance at any cost-even if it means using dark magic that’s been long forbidden.

Then Emilia meets Wrath, one of the Wicked-princes of Hell she has been warned against in tales since she was a child. Wrath claims to be on Emilia’s side, tasked by his master with solving the series of women’s murders on the island. But when it comes to the Wicked, nothing is as it seems…

My Personal Review: I received a copy of this book for a fair and honest review. I saw the cover of this book and that is what first drew me in it it. Then I read what it was about and twins, witches and Wicked ones. I had to know more about the world. It shows that the bond between twins is so power that it will push a person to do things that would not normally do. That is when Emilia meets one of the Wicked Ones and he claims that he is on her side and he too is here to find the killer behind a series of murders. I found a lot to love about this book and it has me excited to see how the rest of the series will go and if and how we will get to meet the rest of the Wicked Ones.

My Rating of the Book: 4 Stars
