How I Got the Book: Review Copy

Summary of the Book:

Cat has finally settled into her new town and is happy with life just the way it is. Until the day that her friend Evelyn shows up on her front step, with a recurring nightmare that began after they defeated Declan.

A dark stranger surrounded by fire and destruction tortures her every night, and in order to help her, Cat must discover the truth about the dark man and his origins.

This time, they must face much older evil on new ground. With the addition of a new ally, the girls will stand against darkness together.

Will they be victorious, or will they fall to his power the way so many others have?

My Personal Review: I received a copy of this book for a fair and honest review. I was ready to read the second book in this series to see what the girls would face next. This one takes place after the defeat Declan in the first book and Vanessa has moved away to San Francisco. This is not keep them from faces whatever comes their way next. Both Cat and Vanessa have full come into their abilities, but Evelyn has not. She seems okay with this for she says she is not ready for the responsibility yet. I did find this book a little slower paced than the first one. I found the book needs a little more going. Things came together a little to easily. Especially with their parents. No parents should just be okay with there children going off to do something dangerous.

My Rating of the Book: 3 Stars
