My Personal Review: I received a copy of this book for a fair and honest review. I was happy to get my hand on this book I wanted to see the next couple and how their story came together. The story centers around Orik who is part of the King’s Guard and he has a hatred for witches that is kind of a the core of his existence. Then there is Jessie who found herself on an alien ship and she ends up a planet of dragon shifters. Orik has been watching her since her arrival and slowly falling for her beauty but strange things happen when she is around like flickering lights. There relationship has a bit of a rocky start. I love how this world kind of builds on itself. I am loving it more with each new book.
