How I Got the Book: Review Copy

Summary of the Book:

BEHOLD THE COMING OF THE LION!
Ulrem is an exile, cursed by destiny to wander a grim and deadly world. Reviled by some and held as a savior by many, he has been a thief, a soldier, a pirate, and a vanquisher of great evils. Some call him the Slayer. Others call him the Lionborn. And some… some see in his trials the grim portents that would end the age in fire and blood.

Filled with monsters, mysteries, and cutthroat action, these eight interconnected stories chart Ulrem’s adventures as he seeks his destiny. This is heroic fantasy and sword and sorcery like you’ve never seen before!

My Personal Review: I received a copy of this book for a fair and honest review. It comprises of a series of short stories that lead us on a journey of Ulrem’s life. It does me old-world fantasy vibes. The world he is in is so vibrated and realistic that one would feel like they are there walking the path with the characters. I like how he changes a little and grows with his experiences. I have not read anything else by this author but what a grasp on description and the world that was created. It makes me interested in what else they have written.

My Rating of the Book: 4 Stars
